We’ve mentioned our Beckett House renovation here enough times now! However, given the achievement of the team personally hauling the new boardroom tables up two flights of stairs (doubling up as a team building exercise!), we can now welcome clients back formally! In addition, our new client waiting room is also ready, complete with drinks fridge and a host of exciting beverage options!
This month, we welcomed Joe to the Becketts family as a Trainee Financial Adminstrator. Joe graduated with a 2:1 from UCLAN in 2018 and his interest in (preventing) fraud and cyber crime will help us maintain our excellent standards. Welcome Joe!
Speaking of fraud and cyber crime, last month we were accredited with the Cyber Essentials certification – reinforcing our commitment to best practice IT security and protection for all our clients. We very much hope this boosts all our clients’ confidence as we see more and more services move online, accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic.
Two of our advisers (Ben and Mark) are continuing on their path to achieving individual Chartered status with further exams at this time – which means sooner or later all of the Becketts advisers will be operating at least at a Chartered-qualified level, to go with our existing Chartered status as a firm, which only 1 in 8 firms across the country holds.
We also find ourselves as finalists in more regional multi-industry awards. Even just to be shortlisted for these awards is a huge achievement.
