We are thrilled to announce that Becketts have once again been awarded a place in the New Model Adviser Top 100 firms 2020.
This prestigious award highlights the firms at the forefront of financial services in the UK and is another fantastic recognition of the gold standard services delivered by the Becketts team. The Award uses AKG to assess the results and focuses on “well-qualified staff, robust investment propositions, good use of technology, willingness to share best practice, client education, recruitment and contribution to professional standards” to name just a few factors.
Commenting on the award, Becketts Director Dominic McLoughney said,
“Small changes have driven the strategy at Becketts this year. An enterprise management incentive scheme has been set up to attract advisers with the offer of shares in the company. We also continue our pro-bono work undertaken by advisers, including guidance sessions at Citizens Advice, Forces Advice and being CII Education Champions.
Promotion is not just a local project though, after launching an app for our clients last year, we also increased our social media presence in 2020. A dedicated social media manager now helps promote the business and clients are provided with video based financial plans.”In what has been a challenging year for all, we are proud that we have managed to be recognised for our continued efforts to further improve our fantastic service to our clients and to our community.
