Becketts are delighted to announce that we have been awarded “Adviser Firm of the Year – North West” by the Professional Adviser magazine.
We were honoured to be finalists in two further categories – “Best Client Engagement” and “Paraplanner of the Year” for our colleague Mr Mark Brown.
To be recognised for the extremely hard work that has gone in over the past two decades and especially so through the difficulties of 2020, is an achievement we are hugely proud of.
Mark Brown has excelled in all he has done at Becketts, and, as he fully moves into his work as a Financial Planner in 2021, it was brilliant to see his quality as an exceptional Paraplanner identified by the judges of the awards.
We were also thrilled with our shortlisting in the ‘Client Engagement’ award. As a firm we have worked really hard to incorporate different ways in which we can help communicate with clients and help present our advice and guidance via different mediums. The use of video was something that stood out as innovative and exceptional.
Finally, the main award and the one we managed to bring home to the sunny Fylde, was “Adviser Firm of the Year – North West”. As these awards are assessed via a complicated case study with significant technical difficulty set by the Personal Finance Society, we were especially honoured to take the top spot. It was a team effort which made the winning all the more sweet.
As a firm we are always looking to test ourselves and push to become better and better every day. These awards are one way in which we can look to do this against some of the best companies in the country and to win is testament to the effort of all of the Becketts team.
